Maria Vrentzou

Maria Vrentzou is the founder, CEO and Chief Marketing Officer of Marketing Vision Consulting. She brings a strong educational and experience background to the MVC team. Following a career as a pharmacist and graduation from business school, Maria acquired experience in an array of market research, marketing, new product commercialization and business development areas, assuming roles of increasing responsibility. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and life-science industry, working with companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Novartis, Abbott Labs, Johnson & Johnson, Reliant, Express Scripts and Ogilvy/CommonHealth, Maria is a strong leader of the MVC team.

Her expertise lies in the insightful development and commercialization of strategic solutions in all business areas.  Maria is known for her ability to successfully bring new products and services to market, optimize current offerings and lead teams towards vision realization with unwavering commitment and passion. Over the years, Maria has been entrusted with numerous product launches.

Maria is bilingual and possesses experience in a global setting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the National University of Athens, Greece and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Vrentzou has authored articles and is a member of numerous professional affiliations, such as the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), the American Marketing Association (AMA), the BioNJ Executive Alliance for Life Science (EALS), and the New Jersey Hellenic Healthcare Professionals Association (NJHHPA).

Ruth Berman

Ruth is an accomplished market research professional with over 25 years of experience in the life-science and healthcare industry and the Chief Customer Insights Officer of Marketing Vision Consulting. She is an expert in both qualitative and quantitative market research across a wide array of methodologies and therapeutic areas. Ruth has held positions of increasing responsibility with various large and small companies and market research agencies, such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Ortho-McNeil and G&S Research. She has demonstrated the ability to address complex business issues with creative approaches, provide compelling, strategic insights, and business perspective along with actionable recommendations. Ruth has been a strong contributor to successful launches over the years.

Ruth holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is a member of numerous professional affiliations including the Health Care Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), New York Women’s Health Agenda, PMRG, PBIRG, National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), and American Marketing Association.

Eleni Vittas

Eleni is an accomplished, strategic scientific and business professional with over 20 years experience in large and small companies specializing in new product development. She has developed, commercialized and globalized OTC, Rx medicines and Nutritional products and helping companies make sound business decisions.  Eleni has worked with numerous companies, including GlaxoSmithKline, Wyeth/Pfizer, Novartis and Alpharma, partnering on co-development and licensing of new products and joint ventures. Eleni provides her expertise in the product development area.

Eleni holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Engineering specializing in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, MBA program certification from Rutgers and Six Sigma Certifications. Eleni is bilingual in English and Greek.

Elif Silva

Elif is an experienced medical professional with demonstrated expertise in strategic and tactical medical management across a plethora of therapeutic areas. Her expertise lies in the area of Scientific & Medical Affairs and ranges from clinical design, safety monitoring and medical strategy planning to KOL development, meetings and communication management. Elif serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Marketing Vision Consulting.

Elif has held positions of increasing responsibility with various large and small companies and agencies. She has demonstrated the ability to translate scientific and clinical learning to a commercial advantage and she has contributed to numerous launches. Elif holds a doctorate degree in Medicine from the State University of Istanbul in Turkey and she is a member of professional associations such as the American Medical Association.

Dr.Dr. Rita Samuel

Dr. Rita Samuel

Dr. Samuel is an experienced medical professional with unique pharmaceutical industry expertise in both Medical Affairs and Clinical Development. Rita has worked with blockbuster drugs and new products, developing and managing clinical trial programs (Phases II-IV), overseeing all aspects of the clinical program from study concepts, protocol development, site selection, implementation, safety monitoring, clinical study reports, publication and communication plans. As the Medical lead for global and US initiatives, she has established strong strategic partnerships with KOLs, clinical investigators, academic institutions and advocacy groups and trained internal and external stakeholders. Rita has extensive experience in multiple therapeutic areas in cardiovascular (post MI, heart failure & hypertension), Thrombosis (DVT & Stroke), Urology and Prostate cancer. She serves as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Marketing Vision Consulting.

Rita holds a Medical Degree from Kasturba Medical College in India, Masters Degree from McGill University, Montreal in Biomedical Devices & Biomaterials and Certificate in Medico-Marketing from Anderson School of Management, UCLA. She has professional affiliation with the American Heart Association (AHA), Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA), American Society of Hypertension (ASH), and AHA ‘Go Red for Women’ & Circle of Red’.


Dr. Mario Tomei

Dr. Mario Tomei is an experienced medical professional with expertise in planning and managing multi-functional clinical and medical projects. Leveraging his demonstrated strategic and operational excellence in various areas, Mario ensures quality deliverables in accordance with company SOPs, federal and local regulations and Good Clinical Practices.

Mario serves as the Director of Medical Affairs at Marketing Vision Consulting. He came to Marketing Vision Consulting with a strong clinical background which includes over a decade of experience in pediatric medicine, where he provided high quality of clinical care to a diverse patient population and treated a wide range of diseases in an underprivileged area in New York.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he serves as an instructor for the American Heart Association. Mario is a member of the American Medical Association and proficient in both Spanish and Italian languages.

Mario obtained his medical degree from the University of Guadalajara and is currently pursuing an MBA in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing for Executives Program at St. Joseph’s University.
